How do I STOP being on a Low Carb Diet?

Hey, so I started a low carb diet last week Sunday. I haven't eaten basically any carbs the past 10 days, but now I realize the diet isn't for me. I've heard that breaking the diet can lead to serious health risks, but I would like to end the diet. Is there a safe way to get off a low carb diet, and back to a normal one?

  1. Like with anything new, start small and gradually increase.
  2. EAT A GODDAMN PILE OF SPAGHETTI.
  3. umm.. let's see.. Eat things like oats for breakfast, wholegrain sandwhich for lunch, chicken breast and vegetables for dinner
  4. Agreeing with a previous answer. Slowly ween back into eating carbs. There is no evidence that going back to carbs is dangerous/harmful unless you binge. Also, being on the diet for only 10 days, you don't need to worry. I had been on it a while ago and did not have any adverse effects coming out of the diet. Just in case you want to be extra cautious, just slowly eat more carbs. Your carbs should include whole grains and complex carbs. Hope this helps.
  5. Slowly integrate carbs back into your diet. Start eating 20 carbs, then 30, then 40 and so on, until your back to normal. Here is a site to do the calorie thing. Good luck, hope the calorie thing works for you. Moderation. I weighed 284 lbs. Did the low carb thing. Started losing my hair, and stuff like that. So i went to a 1600 calorie diet. I have lost 110lbs by doing this. You don't have to starve yourself, but don't overdue it either. I eat anything i want, but you have to count your calories. I am now on a 1800-2000 calorie diet to maintain my weight.
