How much water a day on low carb diet?

How much water a day should I drink to maximize weight loss on a low carb diet simular to Atkins. I've heard alot of water and I've heard to limit water intake.

  1. drink a lot...it helps flush out your system and keeps you from retaining fluid weight...drink what is normally recommended it's 6-8oz. glasses a day i believe...but if you can drink more then do it...just don't "over" do it or you can mess up your kidneys and bladder
  2. No matter what type of diet you are on or if your not on a diet it is best to consume 6 to 8 glasses (6 oz) of water a day. The only time to really restrict fluid intake is if you are told to do so by your doctor because of kidney problems or heart problems.
  3. You want to drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water per day. This will allow free radicals out of your body along with other waste. You should drink a lot of water wth any diet, not just certain ones.
  4. As much as you can handle. If you have an Empty two Liter Pop bottle anywhere..I suggest filling it up. If you can handle drinking two of them..with out blowing up..go for it..the more water you drink..the more weight your gonna drop! The required amount is eight glasses a day, eight 12 ounce...but Im telling you the more the better...If you really are not a water drinker...put a piece of lemon in it..its really good..after a while you will find you will start craving it. Remember your water is fashionable today...so carry it with you too..you will tend to drink more water if its in a bottle..then you will a glass..and you will drink more out of a glass with a straw! So by some straws...and get some bottled water...with the pop up caps..and refill...you don't have to spend all that money on new bottles! Its great for your skin and bowels too! Good luck!
  5. Everyone should drink a gallon a day, spread out during the day. The recommended is half that, but more water is not dangerous (unless you are consuming a lot at once) and will clean out your system plus also make you less hungry.
  6. at least 3 litres of water per day, it will help you get rid of all the toxic which is by-product of ketones (burning fat) process...
  7. You want to drink plenty of water. I can't see any reason why you would want to limit your water intake.
