Vegetarian Daily Diet

After being on a low-carb diet for a while what is the most carbs you are allowed?

I am considering a low carb diet and I know that initially you are limited to 20 perday for two weeks, so what is the most you are eventually allowed?

  1. It depends--after the two weeks, you are supposed to gradually raise your carbs to no more than seventy-five.
  2. 20 carbs a day is what you are limited to only when starting, which lasts 2 weeks, if you are faithful. After that you can add 5 more carbs per week until you stop loosing weight. Also watch out for periods of time when you loose no weight at all (like 2 -6 weeks) you may have hit a plateau and need to drop down to 20 carbs again and increase your exercise to jump start your body again, then slowly work it back up each week 5 carbs at a time.
  3. the most you are eventually allowed depends on your body. You kinda have to test yourself and add about 5 to 10 more grams until you see that you are not losing anymore. For alot of people its usually about 40 gms a day thats the most. Personally I hated that diet and everything about it. I seriously dont see how being able to eat meat everyday and suckin on a stick of butter drizzled in oil and fat can possible be good for your heart. Look into south beach if you must low carb.
