Vegetarian Daily Diet

VEGAN DIET.....................................................................?

When someone is vegan, what do they eat, and what do they don't eat? What are typical meals for vegans? Thanks!

  1. Vegans don't eat meat or dairy products. So they eat soy and veggies and other crap.
  2. they dont eat anything related to animals. like vegetarians they dont eat meat and they also dont eat anything that comes from animals such as milk, cheese etc.
  3. Nothing that comes from an animal--You can make a vegan version of pretty much any meal. I recommend reading the book "Skinny Bitch". It'll give you the tools necessary to become a successful, healthy vegan. "Vegan Planet" has a ton of great recipes. Skinny B-i-t-c-h
  4. They eat nothing from an animal or animal byproducts. It is an unhealthy diet often lacking in key nutrients. Our teeth prove we are to eat both vegetables and animal flesh.
  5. Vegans eat plants and minerals. We don't eat anything from an animal (so no dead animals, milk, eggs, bones, blood, flesh, eyeballs, etc). Vegan diets vary about as much as non-vegan diets, especially as there are vegans all over the world, so there isn't really a typical vegan meal. Also, most non-vegan things can be made vegan these days. They have vegan versions of meat balls, sour cream, chicken strips, tuna salad, butter, mayonnaise, shrimp,... even Egg Nog (called Silk Nog). Here is a very limited list of what some vegans eat: Breakfast Options: Tofu Scramble, oatmeal, cereal with soy-milk, fresh fruit, bagel with fruit preserves (or Tofuttii mock cream-cheese), toast, muffins... all with fresh squeezed juice. Lunch/Dinners: Sandwiches, salads, sautéed tofu & veggies, pesto pasta, burrito (with beans, rice, and veggies), black bean burgers, pad thai, currie with rice and chickpeas, lentil soup, fruit and veggie platter, vegan sloppy joes, pita sandwich with hummus and falafels...
