how can low heamoglobin be improved through daily vegetarian diet?

- Lots of green leafy veggies. Raisins, cereal fortified with iron. If in doubt check with your MD and ask for a ferritin level to be done to see if you should supplement with oral iron. Remember, iron builds up in the system and can be toxic so don't take any supplements until you check with your MD.
- The following foods have iron in them: lentils, beans, green leafy vegetables(the darker the green the better, like spinach), tofu, chickpeas, black-eyed pea, strawberries and farina.
- veggies with high iron inclde green leafy vegetables , cheese and nuts also ,insted of the meats green leaves partcuarly spinach is ver high in iron which helsp build hemoglobin
- eat a balanced diet with some meat in it. nothing raises it like red meat.
