Vegetarian Daily Diet

Am I technically vegetarian?

My daily diet goes something like this 2 gallons of raw grassfed milk 8tbsp. of Organic Ghee Butter 3 Raw eggs per day Maybe once a week about 6 servings of vegetables Maybe once a week a couple handfulls of fruit (this is my actual diet, but I am just pointing out the blatent overuse of the word vegetarian, I mean after all I have technically been vegetarian for a few months, think of all the studies that could have been twisted now with this logic I showed you) Note I eat around 5500 calories a day

  1. You eat six vegetables a week? you should try for that in a day!
  2. eggs are unborn animals so you are not a veggie.
  3. If you dont eat flesh and slaughter by-products, you would be a vegetarian. I wanted to add that your diet is loaded with fat and cholesterol, you dont eat enough veggies and I see no whole grains either. Vegetarian? Yes Healthy? No
  4. You're an "ova-lacto vegetarian" meaning you eat eggs and milk, but the rest of your diet is vegetarian. Vegetarian is a person that doesn't eat any meat from the animal kingdom - fish, chicken, beef, pork... etc.
  5. I would say so but the whole raw eggs deal don't do that you might get real sick to your stomach. Yes you are a technially Vegetarin
  6. Nope sorry dude you are not a veggie . And you should be eating alot more veggies than you are.
  7. I don't care what you call it.....that's just not healthy. You live on milk, butter, eggs, and MAYBE fruits and veggies?
  8. First of all, I don't know who the hell put you on that diet. 8 tbsp of ghee? Can you hear your arteries hardening? 3 Raw eggs a day. Check your cholesterol, and also you are at risk for salmonella poisining. You need more fruits and vegetables. You are not technically a veg-head because of the animal products, but your diet is just as dangerous and unhealthy as being a vegetarian.
  9. Your diet consists of animal produts(i.e milk, eggs) so no you are not a vegetarian. A vegetarian does not eat any product from an animal or if it has any traces of animal in it.
  10. whatever diet you want to call this it can't be called a healthy one that is too much risk of sickness with the eggs and not enough fruits and veggies.
  11. You are an ovo-lacto vegetarian(meaning you eat milk eggs butter ect) not a true vegan. Vegetarianism is not healthy if you eat milk eggs and butter alone with a few fruits and veggies thrown in there. You cholesteral will be to high, and will increase your risk of heart disease if you continue this diet. and it does not matter if it is organic or not butter is not healthy.
  12. Yes, you are a vegetarian. There are several kinds of vegetarians. The main thing people will agree on is that vegetarians don't eat meat. Some don't eat or use any products that are based on animals including eggs, milk, and butter. Many people get this label, yet their diet may vary for a variety of reasons.
  13. what else do you eat?? seriously. you need to eat more than that. i'm a light eater and even i consume more calories than what you have listed. i think we need more information to let you know if you a vegetarian or not, but think of it this way: as long as you don't eat animals (creatrures with a face or creatures that had a mum), you are a vegetarian. if you have failed to mention the meat you eat, you are not a vegetarian just because you consume organic butter, fruit, veggies, and grassfed milk.
  14. Well, your diet sounds boring as all get out, but it certainly IS considered vegetarian. A vegan wouldnt consume eggs or dairy, but most/many vegetarians do, as no animal is killed in the process of milking a cow, or eating an egg, since an egg is unfertilized. I, too, drink raw milk, straight from my cow, and feed my daughter eggs from free range, happy chickens-no harm to either. I would consider you vegetarian by all accounts-it simply means someone who consumes no meat, poultry or fish. What is your point, though, in pointing this out? If you dont consume animal FLESH, you are vegetarian. No misuse of the word here.
  15. technically yes you are a vegetarian- since you are not consumming the life of another. some people say that eggs are unborn chickens and eating them is not vegetarian, everything breaks down on a technicality( mis-spelled sorry) egg's are chicken PERIODS.. just shells that haven't been fertilized. i for one think it disgusting and would not eat my own "egg" inside me so why would i want to eat it from an animal that sits in it's own fecies . try adding nuts and more veggies to balance out. AND SOY MILK!!! :)
  16. You are vegetarian because you don't eat animal flesh. I do hope you get more fruit and veg than that a week and it would be best if you eat some soya products and beans for protein. You need more variety in your diet.
  17. Do you know what eggs are? They are unborn chickens. Need I say more. If this is truly your diet you are a heartache waiting to happen. The cholesterol in your daily food intake is astounding.....your diet is too limited....vegetarians can be very healthy but you need variety and balance for proper nutrition.......
  18. You are technically a vegetarian if your food doesn't contain animal by-products such as gelatin (although some people who eat these products claim to be vegetarian too). Some people said that you're not because you eat eggs/dairy - this just means that you're not vegan - like someone else said, you're an ovo-lacto vegetarian, meaning that you eat eggs and dairy. I don't understand how this points out the blatent overuse of the word vegetarian though.
  19. Technically, you are a vegetarian, just not a healthy one. You would not be considered a vegan, since you eat products from animals. I'm not sure what you are trying to get at with this question, but I'll take my points. cheers...
  20. just a note to all you retards saying that eggs are unborn animals you are so wrong that it is actually almost funny the eggs that people eat are unfertilized, do ya know what that means boys and girls? that means it's not a chicken, yeah that's right, and the worst part is that none of you probably have any problem at all with abortion, that's just a woman's choice right?
