- the only sencible thing to do is EAT MEAT!! it's good for you. what's the point of trying to save the animal thats all ready dead?
- Its a very healthy life style however I think you need a bit more then a Vanilla protein shake for dinner try adding a bit of carbohydrates. It'll give you more energy and release the energy slower. You are only 15 though so maybe you should let go for a while.
- It's healthy yes but I think a bit over the top with exercise, try cutting down a bit, I mean 50 sit ups just with a handful of nuts? Try 20 sit ups. An have something else for dinner, it's not really enough to have a 'protein shake'. BTW: Your technically not vegetarian since you eat fish but you may want to try calling yourself 'vegequarium'. Lol, it's just a made up word but it's funny. EDIT: To Keiran it's really disrespectful to judge someone's diet, consider people's feelings, you never know, someone might find it offensive.
- Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks seem sensible, but I think you might need something more substantial than a protein shake for your dinner.
- I don't see any source of calcium. If it's in the shake, then that's still not enough for a teenage girl. You don't say how much vegetables you are eating, but I would guess not enough. You should add some fruit to your diet, maybe cut up some fruit to eat with your eggs at breakfast. I know you're trying to lose weight, but it looks like you are not eating enough. Try to add a salad to lunch, maybe throw some fruit in the blender when you make the shake. You've got to get enough calcium, or you will pay for it later. You also need to make sure you are getting enough iron. Since you don't eat red meat, you should probably take a multivitamin with minerals. Teenage girls in general bleed more than older ladies with their period, so it is important to get enough iron so you don't become anemic.
- If you're dieting you'll understand that the more often you eat the faster your metabolism will be and therefore the faster you will gain. Therefore if you eat not very regularly your metabolism will slow down and your body will try to preserve the energy in a form commonly known as fat. So the trick is eat regularly. Also, I don't think you're having anywhere near enough for dinner or lunch. For lunch I would recommend eating 2 pieces of bread. As for dinner, you will definitely need more then just a protein shake especially after you've been to the gym. Have a wholesome dinner including rice or other foods rich in carbs. Also, I would consider finishing off the other half of the tuna there as well as the Protein shake. I'm impressed that you seem to be managing to get your protein source in. As for snacks, I would certainly suggest eating a bit of fruit as well as eating a little cheese for calcium. What most people forget is that when they lose weight they just end up culling their metabolism which can be disastrous because they eat barely anything, and once they've lost the weight they just go back to their normal habits and gain it back. The trick is maintaining a normal healthy diet. Good luck!
- A protein shake is not dinner. Eat some food.
- i have been vegetarian since i was nine and am almost never ill, and have never had any weight problems. it does seem to me that you are not eating enough to sustain yourself, although you know your body better than me. also, if you are eating the flesh of any animal (including tuna) then you are not a vegetarian. you are a hypocrite.
