Vegetarian Diet for Teenager?
I really need to lose weight, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how I could go for it. I'm Vegetarian, and have been so for about 8 months, so if you could stick to the "no meat" thing, that would be amazing. I have PE class every other day for school, and I have a gym membership, so the workout should be fine for me. All I'm needing is maybe a daily eating schedule and maybe different exercises I could try? If anybody could help me out, that'd be amazing :)

- You have to build your own eating schedule, in doing so you will learn a lot about the food you're eating also. Look, all you need to do is eat a lower amount of calories, 1,600 should be sufficient. Eat things which are high in carbohydrate and protein mainly. As far as exercise, cardiovascular activity, i.e jogging on a treadmill, eliptical machine ... whatever you want and you will burn off the calories.
- I have been a vegetarian for 6 years. It does keep the weight down. Snacking & foods high in calories/salt/fat will not help. I have found a vegan diet works wonders, I saw the difference in days, honest! Lentils, fruit, veg, cereals, wholemeal bread, beansprouts, and a range of vegan products like soya cheese, soya milk soya yogurt etc called "alpro soya" are great. I would strongly reccomend a vegan diet. Cut out all dairy products and you really will lose weight faster than you would imagine. Also keep exercise regular, if you stick to being vegan you won't actually need to do that much! I hope this helps! If you want to know more ask :] x
